I missed Fishing Friday due to the heavy rains in the area, but was able to find some time on the trail. I’ve been trying to explore the municipal parks around my new place and I’m having fun doing it!
Indian River Park is in the City of Chesapeake, VA. It’s a nice little escape from the urban life of Hampton Roads until you hear traffic along Military Highway, but there many trails to hike and bike. Worth a visit if you’re in the area, but it’s a little difficult to find as the business address is NOT where the trails are location. If you’re at the community center on Rokeby, then go back across Military Hwy. to the other side of Rokeby and you’re find the trails. Watch yourself and happy urban hiking.

Uuuuggghhhhh giirrllll lol so I moved here from Philadelphia Pa about 4 years ago in search of love and a better job…..well that didn’t come….so i was told to find myself…..being from the city I figured the woods would be a good place to start…i instantly fell in love!! Then a year or so later i found my girlfriend….me being an italian american and her being African american we had some learning curves…especially in the home…..I’m a clean freak……and she’s a 5 yr old so I feel your pain there the only thing that has helped us is sitting down and going over organizational type things a food planning…..its been rough but with love and determination day by day it seems to get better. When I cook it’s usually from sun up to sun down and I tell her I cook those kind of meals because I love you and it’s my way to show you I appreciate everything you do so I take the time and care to make complex homemade healthy meals. (Homemade pasta,zucchini meatballs and homemade gravy(sauce). Anyway hope things are good in your world and if you ever dont wanna do something remind yourself you do it because of love
